Dr. Daniel Clayton, DVM, is a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist™ and Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College. He completed his residency in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Veterinary Dental Services in Boxborough, MA.

Before committing to dentistry he worked as a small animal general practitioner for 12 years after completing an internship in small animal emergency and surgery at VCA South Shore in Weymouth, MA. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Clayton is a member of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association, and the Rhode Island Veterinary Medial Association. He received the 2019 Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry Grant for the research project: "Comparison of Cone Beam Computed Tomography, Digital Radiography and Oral Exam in the Identification of Feline Tooth Resorption with Histopathologic Analysis as the Gold Standard".

Dr. Clayton moved to Rhode Island in August of 2024 with his wife and 3 kids to establish a veterinary dental practice in Rhode Island. We are looking forward to getting to know our veterinary clients and their beloved pets as we work to grow our practice in the RI area.
